Otaku Ink

The Walking dead is a comic about a sheriff, Rick Grimes, who wakes up from a coma, after being shot,  to find that the world is in the midst of a Zombie apocalypse. The insuring drama of finding his wife and kid, dealing with hysterical survivors, and finding his next meal while not becoming one; creates a deep and fulfilling story. Only thing keeping this comic from being a 5 star comic, is that one dimensionality of the main character. Other characters in the story, and their are many, have failings and quirks that make them more likable and give them depth. But Rick never seems to stop being right. At some point it just gets tiresome. You want to see him have a failing. But alas, not it this issue.
