There’s a new dating Sim out in Japan that has basically created a Tamagotchi girlfriend. Not only do you have to “win” the girl over like a normal dating Sims. But once you have her, you have to keep up the relationship in real time. How? Same way you keep a real girlfriend, make dates, go do things with her, and chat with her. Apparently, this constant affection towards a virtual person has been causing strain on some marital relationships in Japan. And has opened up a whole new debate on virtual cheating.
