Video Game Symphony

posterplayJust got back from Play – a video Game Symphony, And wasn’t as impressed with it as much as I was with Video games live.  Don’t get me wrong, it was still good. But the energy with video games live was much higher, and more interactive. Where Play is really a symphonic experience, and less about a show. A Friend said it best ” I think, I would have enjoyed this one more if I hadn’t seen the other one first.”

I just wish someone would just play some Shadow of the Colossus for once.

(Note: I am was extremely addicted to the above mentioned game, for several months. But am glad to say that after finally beating it all, both easy an hard modes[yes the time trials too], I’m over it. At least for a few months.)

[ed. note by Chief - I have to say that I was really disappointed in the concert. It felt extremely lacking, both in the musical choices and in the IT dept. I can understand if you hire a few college kids to handle ALL your tech needs, but at least run through it one or two times, so they can get some practice.

So, roughly put together, and too many Square games made this event extremely lackluster compared to the other. Hopefully the other will ride through town soon so I can show my friends what exactly I was so excited for.]
