Nozomi Entertainment has acquired the Dirty Pair TV series. And is planing on releasing 24 episodes, and two specials in two box sets, late this fall. Word has it that they will have re-mastered video with Japanese audio and subtitles.
The story is based on the light novels by Haruka Takachiho. Centering around two women, codenamed the Lovely Angels, whose jobs it is to help keep intergalactic peace. Unwittingly they bring more destruction to the planets they are trying to help,than the original problem caused. Hence giving them the unofficial nickname the Dirty Pair.
If you’re into sci-fi space fiction, and you don’t mind not thinking too hard. I’d recommend checking out the light novels they are pretty quick to read, and fun to boot.
